Should have done this when i joined but never got around to it Razz

Anyway im Chris, got a SJ Jimny Sierra, Australian import, equivilent is a Sj Samurai Sport, With all the fancey gadgets, air con, PAS and the Injected model. Got Jefry last year just before christmas and after the snow :( been gradually taking over all my weekends since!

Been to Frickley with Ste for the first time offroading and was amazed what these cars can do! Went to tong the other week and equally amazed.

Im 20 and just completed a National Diploma in electrical and mechanical Engineering now doing Electrical and Electronic engineering HND then Degree... Sometimes wonder why im doing an elec course and tinker with the car rabbit But im quite computer able, build my own and watercooled it and tinker with stuff... Anyway now you know!

Just remember, now you are using your truck off road, if you start to modify it, it will never be good enough for you. And one mod will just lead to another one.
So best to just leave it standard like I have done with mine. Smile

I'll put money on that this is just the start! now that you are on the forum you'll you see what people are doing to their trucks and you'll meet the lads and then it all starts. Just look at Ste he just bought is sj to get to work in and drink tea in! Me I flicked over the sky one night and a 4x4 is born was on, two weeks later I had a Vitara and the following mths very little cash in my bank!

Love it and the only way forward is to mod, mod and mod - it'll never stop

on another note, why not fit a drum brake to the transfer box? i've got a couple spare i think somewhere in the scrap heap(garage)
