Hey my names Tom im 20 and i live in Sunny Bridlington.
I have owned my vitara for 2 months now, its a suzuki vitara 1.6 16v 1995 in blue.
when i bought it was completly standard and in really good condition, but i was the first person to take it off road and it seems to like it.
here are a few pictures of it when i got it.

then i got some stickers to make it different

AND how it looks now with the bullbar and stick on plate.

Everything else is standard apart from what you can see like the snorkal, bullbar etc...

since the last pictures i smashed the front grille somehow so that is all meshed out now and i have a set of spot light on the bullbar and a diffrent air filter also.

future plans are to get a set of big wheels and tyres and get it raised 3''

(by the way, i wanted it to stand out hense why i chose orange Very Happy)

And here is a pictture of my other car

i hope to get some tips and meet new people.
cheers.

i'd have done the colour scheme the opposite way. orange body etc and black bumpers /extras.
i wanted to do the same to my sj but i use it for shooting and i think it would stand out a bit too much Twisted Evil

my car looks like a diffrent car now, i was going down a green lane with it in rear wheels having abit of fun and the back end kicked out a bit to much and i went into a bush/tree. the front bumper got smashed to bits on the pasanger side and my wing got all smashed in.

the reason it got smahshed in so bad is that i took my bullbar of to paint it as i was in the process of changing the colour and style of my car,
i spent a day trying to sort it out,i cut the drivers side bumper of so it wud match the other side and tryed to re shape the wing. eventually last night i finished it Very Happy i will get some pictures up for you all to see it as it looks now.

yes they will work but its better to be done with springs instead of spacers & you should be able to get the merc & rover springs from a breakers for around the same cost as them spacers if not a little less

could i not use the merc and rover springs and then use the spring lift to make it even higher, are the springs easy to come by and to fit?

hmmm didnt think soo, i dont know which ones to choose i want an easy job and easy to buy so i think i might buy the 2'' spacers which should give me enough clearance for my wheels.

merc springs= £25 new
rover 600 rears = £15 / £20
astra mk2 shocks £19.
much better than spacers, but its your choice.

vitara mad knows his stuff with vits.
i'd do what he reccomends, but dont buy a jimny like he did. have a look on flea bay etc or ring round scrappies. easy enough to do. im sure rich will give you a hand if you get stuck
