Hello from West Yorkshire

Hi all, my name is Stephen and i live in sunny West Yorkshire.

I have just bought my first Vitara, it is a 1998 3 door hard top 1600cc 8 valve.

It has been stood on a blokes drive way for about 6 months but is in great shape, apart from me burning the clutch out driving it home.... embarrassing...

I had an SJ413 about 10 years ago that i converted to the 8 valve vitara engine which was a brilliant motor and never let me down.

So i decided to go down the vitara route, which i bought to get my Labradors around in.

I do plan on doing a few mods including some good off road tyres, a suspension lift and probably even go down the body lift.
I also intend on fabricating some sill bars, that i did when i had my SJ.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated, especially in any recommendations for suppliers etc.

on the page where you post your message there is little box's at top above where you type move your mouse over them & find the one that says host a image click on it & go from there

nice tidy vit you got there.
As for mods, well it depends on what you want to use it for?? you can go as far as you want or as tame as you like.
A quick search througth the pages on here will arm you with the know how and
materials needed , and plenty of folk will help out with back up if needed.
